Valentine’s Day

This year our school library decided to “dress up” for Valentine’s Day. There were balloons and Valentine related words decorating the shelves. A romantic table was set for a romantic meal, awaiting the arrival of a pair of lovebirds. The lovey-dovey couple could choose their meal from a swoon-worthy menu written and decorated by Inês Ribeiro from class H of the eighth grade. If this menu did not please the head- over- heels couple, there were other menus written by eighth grade students from classes F; G; H and I. Besides choosing their meal, the match made in heaven could read cupid-approved poems written by students from class A of the seventh grade. Entertainment was also provided with the film: Romeo and Juliet. If words were to fail the moonstruck couple a heart with words defining love was on display.
